The Thorntons Derbyshire Fund was set up originally by Michael and John Thornton, with a view to ensuring this nationally treasured company could always ‘give locally’.
The Foundation uses its grantmaking expertise and local knowledge to provide Thorntons staff with access to a great selection of Derbyshire projects, all requiring a small amount of financial investment to make big things happen in local communities. Each year around 2-3 groups will be awarded small sums of around £500.
