What brought you to Foundation Derbyshire?
The essence of my professional life as solicitor barrister and judge was to help people through a crisis of one sort or another. So similar and yet so different from the world of philanthropy!
What excites you about Foundation Derbyshire?
I continue to be amazed by the range of organisations and activities of our grant applicants – and the care of the staff and panel members who work on those applications.
There is so much good work going on out there in Derbyshire. For me it is quite simply gratifying to be involved in supporting those who work for their communities and for those in need.
