Vicki joined our Foundation’s team in mid 2023.
My working background was a supporting role in education for over 12 years. As a School Business Officer in a small primary school, this role covered many areas – liaising with parents, visitors, governors and the local authority, all administration areas, finance, reporting and supporting the headteacher with the general running of the school (the non-teaching elements).
Since starting at Foundation Derbyshire, it’s already been amazing, seeing just how many small community organisations there are in and around Derbyshire providing help and support to so many people. My favourite aspect of the role is getting out and about meeting these wonderful local groups, CIC and charities, whether that’s at a funding fare, funding surgery or monitoring visit, it’s always a pleasure hearing and seeing the valuable work that they do.
It makes me proud to live and work in such a caring county.
